Eradicate the Fascists

Hey everybody, I’m Trench Reynolds. You may know me from such blogs as RealCrime.Net, where I’ve been writing about mass shootings, human trafficking, and online predators for over 25 years.

So you may be asking why I’m starting a new blog about ICE.

Like many of you, I was horrified by the murder of Renee Good on the streets of Minneapolis by a cowardly masked federal agent. The equally cowardly murder of Alex Pretti by multiple masked federal agents only strengthened my resolve. I needed to do something. I cannot idly stand by while injustices on such a grand scale are allowed to continue, while the victims are labeled as terrorists.

What do I hope to accomplish with this? I’m not entirely sure. There are many more qualified people already detailing the crimes of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents online. But one more voice never hurts. The more voices we have, the better chance we have of making a difference.

So why is the blog called Operation: ICE Crime?

My favorite album of all time is Queensrÿche’s Operation: Mindcrime, released in 1988. It’s a dark concept album about a man named Nikki who’s recruited by a shadowy revolutionary figure called Dr. X and psychologically conditioned (“mindcrimed”) into becoming an assassin for a supposed anti-corruption movement.

Even before I became as left-leaning as I am today, I always thought it was an amazing album, with deep lore, intense themes, and outstanding music.

Now, in the year of our Lord 2026, the lyrics hit even harder, as we watch the masked henchmen of a corrupt and fascist government kill citizens in our streets.

So why now, instead of a year ago when this administration took office?

I’ll be honest. It was the murder of Renee Good. I knew people were dying in ICE detention facilities, but watching a child become an orphan because some asshole thought Renee Good’s car was too close to him shook me out of whatever complacency I had left. As the saying sort of goes, the best time to start caring was last year; the second-best time is now.

So please join me as I try to lend some kind of assistance to others whose voices might not otherwise be heard.
